About

Hello, thank you for stopping by! My name’s Ann and I’m an artist, mum, teacher and nature lover from Taunton, Somerset. I create colourful paintings, drawings and mixed-media art, to spread a little joy and share my love of the natural world.

Ann Jarrett

Ann Jarrett is an eclectic artist, who lives in Somerset and works from her humble home studio in Taunton.

Her vibrant, multimedia art is a colourful celebration of her deep love of nature, and her work is influenced by the splendour of the British seasons.

Through her art, Ann hopes to spread a little happiness, and prays that her creations will not only brighten your wall, but will truly uplift your soul!

Born and raised in South Wales, Ann attended the Newport College of Art and Design where she developed her playful artistic style and obtained her degree in Graphic Design.

She later completed her Art Teacher’s Diploma and her Advanced Diploma in Art Education, which launched her 30-year career, teaching both GCSE and A-Level art.

Ann has devoted her entire adult life to sharing her love of art, and, over the years she’s had the honour of inspiring countless young people to follow their creative dreams.

Ann is currently a member of The Chandos Society of Artists, and sells and exhibits her colourful art, nationwide.
